What is Tarot or Angel reading? Tarot and Angel readings are age-old systems of guidance using cards with specific images. Each card has a particular meaning or message. Your reader lays the cards out in a particular pattern, and this pattern and the cards chosen should hold up a mirror to your present, giving you extra insight and perspective into your life, which then empowers you to make the best possible choices for your own future. The readings are done using either the Universal Waite Tarot deck or the Tarot of the Angels deck. Both will provide exactly the same type of reading, using the same layouts-the only difference is the imagery on the cards. The Universal Waite deck has the traditional tarot imagery whereas the Tarot of the Angels deck has pictures of angels on them. The choice of which deck used is up to you.

What should I expect from a reading?
A reading should NOT be viewed as having an
connection with "fortune telling". Fortune telling implies that your future is already
decided, whereas Tarot or Angel readings are empowering guides for your life,
enabling you to choose your " future". I believe that every client has free will over
their own lives, and that the cards provide insight and clarity into their future
decision-making which will lead to their best potential path forward. A reading can also
offer insight into certain situations. After doing a general reading first, I can look at any
specific issues in detail for you. This way you can get the best possible rounded reading.

What about the Cards which have unpleasant images?
As a guide, Tarot cards reflect both
the positive and the unpleasant aspects of our lives. Many people, for example, are afraid
of the Death Card, mainly due to the influence of the media and the usual dramatic effects
which accompany any appearance of the Death Card on television or in film, such as clanking
chains and dramatic organ music. These theatrics can unfortunately put a great many people off readings. Cards such as these should NEVER be taken literally. The Death card, for example, means simply "change", which could be a change for the better. You can get the Death card before a wedding or moving house! Another example is the Hermit card which confirms that you have chosen the right path in your life- NOT that you will live alone and lonely for the rest of your life! Please decide on the cards for yourself by having a reading, not through the influence of the media who have their own agenda about how the cards are represented and about what they mean.

Should I ask Questions?
Yes. Please feel free to ask questions. The more energy a client puts into the reading by participating, the easier it is for them to receive their own personal insights and perspective from the cards they have chosen. However, questions are normally best asked at the end of the reading for two reasons. Firstly, it keeps the reading 'clean' -a client cannot suspect the reader of using any information which they have already been told by the clients themselves, and of elaborating/adapting the reading accordingly. Secondly, think of a Tarot reading like a jigsaw puzzle-each individual piece makes more sense when seen in the light of the larger picture. Reading is a two-way process between the client and the cards they have chosen, and the readers' role is merely that of an interpreter. Therefore clients often find it better to leave a complete discussion of their reading until each and all of the cards have been revealed, and interpreted by the reader when, by then, the full flow and picture can be seen. REMEMBER however- you may not always get the answers you desire! The cards will lead you to the insights you need to see to empower you. If you chose not to acknowledge what they are showing you, because you have a preconceived idea of what you want what to hear, that is your right, but remember that the cards have no reason to portray untruths -their sole aim is to help you.

What must I not expect?
Do NOT expect your reader to be a psychic. Do NOT expect your reader to be a medium. I do NOT advertise myself as such. My readings involve the use of intuition and years of study and professional reading experience.

What should I come away with?
You should NEVER come away from a professional reading feeling disturbed by any information you are given. If a warning message about any potential future choice has to be given, it will be done in a gentle and sensitive way and provide you with advice on how best to deal with it. You should come away with guidance on how to maximise your potential as a human being, with ideas about creating your different possible futures. You should come away feeling positive, inspired and above all, empowered, even through difficult times.

How long does a reading take?
On average, the Short reading takes 10-15 minutes, and a Standard reading takes approximately 30 minutes. Sometimes it may take longer if a client has a wide variety of issues or questions. I do not believe in cutting a reading short without giving a client my best and I do not mind running a few minutes over time to do this. However, please remember that other clients may be waiting, who are entitled to the same standard of service as I provide for you.

How do I make an appointment?
To book, please phone 0468 69 25 50 to arrange an appointment, the venue to meet and the costs. If for any reason, you cannot make your appointment – and it is perfectly understandable that unforeseen circumstances can arise- PLEASE let me know as soon as possible so that someone else may possibly use your appointment time. Many thanks for your consideration on this point. Depending on distance, if a group of people wish to have readings and are prepared to cover my car travel costs, I can come to you. I normally prefer to do a maximum of either 7/8 short readings or 4/5 standards readings together at any one time. After two hours continuous reading, I get tired and I do not think it is then moral to charge anyone after that for a reading.

How much does a reading cost?
A Standard three part in-depth reading costs €20 but, as mentioned before, I also provide a Short reading which takes 10-15 minutes and costs €10, but this involves only 5 cards, which may not provide enough insight and advice to satisfy your needs. The Standard 30 minute reading is by far my most requested. Having compared prices with other readers in many areas of Europe, these are generally the average prices, or below.
